Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or linked to the same account as your Nest device. If you can successfully connect to the Chromecast SSID in your WiFi settings, open the Google Home app and try setting up the device. Note: This only applies if you’ve set up your device in the Google Home app.If you’ve set up your device in the Nest app, learn how to change the location or room name of your Nest product in the Nest app.Note: If you previously set up your device and have not factory reset it (FDR) since it got kicked off of the network, look for the name of the Chromecast device that you assigned to it in the list of available networks on your mobile device.
